It was only the turn of the year Volv0 offloaded struggling Polestar to parent company Geely.

Earlier this year Renault to faith into combustion engine car, suggesting they will keep building them for at least another decade. This came after Renault ditched plans to list its electric vehicle business Ampere because of sluggish stock market conditions and a slow down in electric vehicle demand.

Ford backed going all electric earlier the year.

I think there’s only JLR that is still pledging to go full electric “for now!

It just shows how consumer demand can turn the tables and possibly governments.

As for VW , they have alot to blame on themselves, thinking they could produce EV’s at a lower quality standard than their previous ICE counterparts and launched with interiors, that were far from tradition at the time. Thankfully the majority of manufacturers such as Renault, kept to a more traditional approach!
