      Hi All,

Interesting news from Vauxhall for Q1 ‘26. All of their old specs of cars have resurfaced on the scheme, including the old 1.2 non-turbo 75PS Corsa, 100PS Mokka and Astra, plus the 50kWh Mokka Electric.
Most of these ceased production at the end of 2024 / start of 2025 as they weren’t popular due to being very underpowered, and thus stock levels of unregistered cars is pretty much nonexistent apart from the odd lonely straggler in a dealer carpark.
Surely this is a mistake on the lease brokers behalf? They’re not bringing these engine specs back apparently either.

The current ones available don’t meet the Under 25 standards as the insurance groups catapulted upwards with the fitting of a turbocharger on the 100PS Corsa and the 136PS 1.2 Turbo in the Astra and Mokka is too powerful. Plus the Mokka Electric is now fitted with the updated 54kWh battery with 156PS. The final kicker is that the Design specification for the Corsa and Astra no longer exists anymore.

I’m going to phone my local Vauxhall dealer first thing tomorrow to find out more because Vauxhall UK are yet to update their website for the price lists.
      🙂
