So, from ordering a replacement in April it took Durham Council 3 weeks to ask for payment.  Then a further week to actually order it.

This mornings email from the goverment says Durham have ordered the badge today and it can take up to 2 weeks to receive it (10 working days) so in total it’ll be around 6 weeks.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

It takes 7-14 days after ordering to get one here & they are free!

@Joss  Yes, did mine on there as well, then got an email from Durham for ID etc, then payment.

Just a pain (literally!) not being able to park closer when I’m out shopping.  Never mind, it’ll be here sometime!.

On the other hand, we finally got FTTP here, tried to get Virgin (only option) but Openreach wouldn’t let them use a bit of their trunking! (we have underground cables).  Openreach were saying Dec 25 to Dec 26 before they’d get round to us but I got an update from them on the 13th saying it was now available.

So, rang my provider (Vodafone) and made the switch, engineer is coming on the 30th which was OK until I mentioned it to my next door neighbour, he rang BT yesterday afternoon to switch and an engineer is coming to do his this Thursday!! 🙁

Hard to believe you’ll get FTTP quicker than a blue badge!!

It’s arrived!  it’s taken 5 weeks to the day!

If the car wasn’t going back at the end of the lease I think I’d epoxy it to the dash 🙂

At least you have it now!

Next time you go, leave it at home or at least put it in with your hand luggage 🙂

Yes indeed 🙂  It’ll go in my laptop case inside my backpack, there’s no way I’m loosing that!

For some reason my blue badge is expiring a year before my current pip award almost like they want the extra tenners, waste of money so in 12 months I’ll have to do it all again FFS.

My 16 Yr old Don just got 10 point in mobility with psychological distress category so just done his blue badge application too.

Weeks later still no contact for payment etc I’m sure these blue badge depths only have one person working there

Just checked Norfolk timescales, can you believe this. What a disgrace, wonder how that stands for someone terminally ill. I’m not sure how they can justify that it’s disgusting.

It usually takes 12 weeks for us to issue a Blue Badge after we receive your application and all supporting evidence.

If your application is approved, Blue Badges take around 10 working days to arrive after you have made payment.

I’ve just got an email to say my BB needs to be replaced, again. These three years come round quick. So, answering all the same questions as ever, with the same answers, I wonder how long it will take to see a nice new shiny badge?
