Due to problems with my person hoist remote, I asked my fitter how much it would cost to have a transfer board fitted to my existing car. I was shocked to be told that the £9 board fitted to a new Motability lease, would now cost £540 as an addition now. I knew it would be significantly dearer but not as much as that.
