Anyone know what Toyota’s policy is on paint prices for Motability?

Specifically the CH-R+ online prices are,

Metallic – Cement grey – Free
Special metallic – Galaxy Black £695
      Bi-tone premium – Platinum white pearl/black – £950
      Premium paint – Metal Oxide – £950
Premium paint – Platinum white pearl – £950

Can’t see anything for Motability pricing though ??

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

Thanks Mike, I really like the Metal Oxide, yours looks stunning   🙂

I was looking at the Urban Cruiser but it’s no longer on the scheme.  Going by the online reviews the CH-R+ is a much better option.  The Design trim will do nicely  🙂

I’m off for an eye test tomorrow morning so will nip over to my Toyota dealer and see if I can get in/out of it OK. 🙂

If I can it’ll be at the top of the shortlist for October, that’s assuming there’s no more nasty surprises with AP’s etc!! 😮

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

I don’t have the chr plus that’s another guy on here I’m considering it when order December I did go out in it but I’ve had two CHRs and fancy a change yes £1195 isn’t bad for the Design spec with power boot etc I think black would look good too with the black wheels

Oops!!  It was Mitch’s Kia EV3 I was looking at, very similar colour!.

Good job I’m getting an eye test this morning 😀

Just been doing a bit of internet digging, quite fancied the Premium Pack (JBL stereo and Pano roof) but apparently it’s only an option on the Excel trim which is an extra £2000 over the Design  🙁

So, eyes are worse (no surprise) and I have the beginnings of cataracts! but nothing to worry about any time soon 🙂

Had a look, only 2 salesmen in today and both having lunch so had time to have a good look round it, sit inside etc.  Have to say that for £1195 with a heatpump V2L and any colour I like I don’t think I can find a better choice! the Kia EV3 may be a possibility but from what I remember it was too low to get into due to its shape, the Enyaq SEL of course but not impressed with the real world range on my current one or my dealer.

The CH-R+ was OK getting in/out, about the same as the Enyaq, seat right down (same as Enyaq) and I had about 2-3″ headroom.  No problem seeing the drivers display as being 6’5″ even with the steering wheel fully up I’m still looking down over the top of it.

Only problem is the centre console, it’s very wide and exactly in the wrong place! hits my left knee in the sore bits!, however, I had a similar problem with another car and just stuck a 1″ thick soft pad onto it to soften the surface.

When I test drove the urban cruiser when it was still on the scheme a few months ago, the guy at the garage said motability can have any colour they want with no extra cost, because they would just end up with a car park of black or white cars they try to resell, so by allowing any colour it makes resale better for motability.

I’m set on ordering the same car.

Had a test drive in one this week, very smooth and refined.
