I don’t have any experience to share but your question made me wonder what towing would do for the MPG.

It’s pretty poor by modern standards at around 37 without the extra weight of a caravan.

If I seem a little strange, that's because I am.

We tow a caravan; however, we have not towed with a MG HS Auto.

A couple of years ago there was a caravaner on site he was quite happily towing with the MG.

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

The HS has a braked towing limit of 1750kg and unbraked limit of 750kg. It has just under 250NM of torque which are the imortant figures to consider when towing.

If your considering towing a caravan you are best asking on sites like The caravan and motorhome forum. Practical caravan have also done a towing review of MG HS 2021 including tech spec’s below:
