It’s gcse results day today. The way school went on about it you’d think it was the end of the world if you don’t get your results.
Anyway picked my sons up with him and he seemed OK earlier he got More than enough for his college place.
This evening he’s told mum he’s taken several packs of paracetamol so he’s off to hospital now should be home in a few hours after some NAC treatment just in case.
Poor boys had such a shit year he’s had diabetes diagnosis, ASD, hospital stays and he still managed to finish school I think he’s a hero for doing it.
Bloody school tho they spent two years of KS4 drumming how important it is and loading these kids up with pressure. Then to top it off there’s kids standing around the entrance screaming about their 8s and 9s.
Im sorry needed to vent I’m so upset that he feels bad and angry at the pressure put on these kids unnecessarily
