I’m so excited today’s the day I pick up my new Toyota CHR hybrid design at 11am motability salesman has emailed me and says it’s been cleaned and looking resplendent ! I’ve watched all you tube Toyota videos of controls and how to set up my iPhone etc and after pick up will go a good drive in the countryside and villages will put photos on later Thankyou for all your help on here cheers Mike

Hi Mike, looks fantastic and I love the colour. Let me know how you get on with the park assist? Ive got it on mine but I’ve not been brave enough to try it out. The salesman said that I should make sure that I keep the brake in use as when he demonstrated it to a customer, he didn’t use the brake and it parked at high speed, terrifying the customers in the car at the time.

I’ve had my C-HR for just over 3-years now and it’s been an absolute joy in all that time. Infact, the one and only gripe I’ve had in all that time is I still forget to push the ‘fuel filler cap open’ button on the dashboard whenever I need to refuel… which means traipsing around the car back to the driver’s seat to push it. You’d have thought I would have gotten used to that by now – but no!

Anyway, looking great Mike. It has, and always will be, a stunning looking car in my eyes… unique & different. My next car was built a couple of days ago & should be here early-mid April. I will certainly miss my C-HR when it goes back though. Having said that… I may well go back to Toyota in the near future for the C-HR GR 2.0 Sport. Now THAT is seriously sexy!

Update now done 60 miles mpg showing 65.9 well pleased having trouble putting seat belt in as down low next to centre console which with my weak hands is hard to get in so I’ve ordered a seat belt extender off eBay £5 delivered it’s 25 cm long so should solve the problem

Tried ECO drive mode today made car to sluggish went back to normal mode iPhone all set up on Bluetooth with all contacts car took 10 mins to tune in to it
