When we sign up to motability car, its at the PIP rate we receive at the time per month. If this rate increases, do motability pocket the increase also? Obviously, on a lease car people pay same rate until its settled. So if the yearly PIP rate increases, shouldn’t we receive the increase, as small as it may be?

You’re guess is correct, I am guessing.

You sign over your allowance, including future increases.

I was not aware there was differing types of lease under Motability

All leases are type variable even if there is no advance payment to pay. The only fixed lease are cars listed as a weekly payment, those that do not require all of your award. Of the 884 vehicles presently available 4 are available on a fixed lease. (Excluding WPMS customers)

Lease’s requiring less than the full benifit award are fixed.
