Another vote for the Ateca

ParticipantGreat choice, top spec and a fabulous drive,Β All the VAG group versions are excellent choices, all virtually identical under the skin, so simply a matter of looking for the best spec at the best place and not being a victim of badge snobbery, enjoy ,.

I’m the same as you as I’ve been reading the forum for a long time now but never really added anything, but the advice I have gained from it has been priceless.
I ordered my car last week and I really can’t wait as it will change my life so much as it will give me the ability to go out on my own for the first time in years.
BionicRusty
ParticipantHi there Russ.Β Thatβs really good to read.
The freedom Motability offers can be a life changer.
What did you order if you donβt mind me asking? πππ I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it π
Russ
Hi Wayne, I ordered the Tiguan Allspace.
The wait was predicted at around 6/7 months but there was one already built so the wait was brought down to 8 weeks.

ParticipantOh, nice choice sir. A great car. Β ππππ
And what a scoop on the lead time. Well done. I hope you enjoy it and are able to get upwardly mobile again. ππ I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it π

Thank you!

Moderatorthanks Taz, we hope your able to put the Β£300 to great use, keep us updated on the Allspace.

ParticipantThe Allspace Match was a strong contender for me, it was very attractively priced, only the 26 week plus delivery time put me off. Same as my other possible choice the BMW X2

We did the same as Russ and ordered from stock. Its been sat at our dealership for a month already wrapped up (literally!). I’m buggered if I can work out how to post a photo as its got a big white zip up covering on it! π
Elliot
ParticipantI like the Allspace but just wish the SEL trim with auto was on the scheme.

Hi Elliot,
It is, unless removed very recently. Have ordered the SEL 1.5 dsg. Looks like 26 weeks is about right, sadly
Markw
ParticipantIt’s still showing, but the Tiguan prices are through the roof, when I was contemplating one. The 2.0 td Match 4motion was 1400 quid, bargain.

I can’t wait.
The only one available had keyless entry added but they threw that in for nothing.
Bonus!

Back of the net! What colour/spec u getting Russ?
Russ
Match/Black pearl.

Elliot the Tiguan sel auto is on the scheme

Hi Markw,
AP Does look expensive, but a Β£36k car and very well equipped. For me, worked out marginally ahead of the Tarraco and, surprisingly, much better deal than Kodiaq. Would be happy with any and not bothered with the badge. If my rollator fitted, the Ateca would Β be a top contender.

ParticipantVery nice vehicle buddy, if the wait doesn’t stress you out too much, enjoy π
