The Tesla Non Tesla monthly subscription does it start from the first of every month or when you actually start the subscription giving you a full month ?

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

So in theory if I signed up 6th September say for instance for my holidays, it would last to 5th October, then I could cancel until next time I require it.

Good question, I’ll be signing up at the end of this month. And then cancelling so it had better last a calendar month!

It is billing month i.e. 30 days.

I would also check IONITY passport subscription.  In the past first month was for free and their price is fixed across all their charging stations so no need to guess how much it will cost you this time.

If I join when we go away around 12th June for example, it renews the following 12th July, but I always cancel it a week or two early so I don’t forget, you can continue using it until the renewal date 12th of July. I’ve been doing this 4 times a year since 2024.

Mines always came out on the 25th, not sure about a “30 day billing month”? I know it as a “calendar month” so 12 debits a year.

But yeah you get the app, sign up, put in your details… car, bank card etc then check the small print about how much notice they need to cancel and do it.

Ionity are also good (I’ve got them too) so depends on which is best suited for your route and destination.

I like Ionity cause find their parking a bit better but their cables are heavy, my wife prefers Tesla because of the lighter cables.

Also depending on your car Tesla don’t really support 800v architecture so I’m limited to 98kW from them (Hyundai Ioniq 6) instead of 230+ from Ionity, not a problem cause gives more time to get to the toilets and let the dog out 😂

Gridserve also do a subscription if their locations are more suitable?
