The dealer tried it on an fob me off with a MY26 and denied all knowledge of the MY27, we told him we might as well keep the Suzuki , no point in changing yet then, a few minutes later he came back confirming he can place a MY27, funny that.

I often wonder, if its due to becoming an agency model, as Skoda dealers were normally good in the past.
@Kezo I’ve wondered about that as well.
Bought a used Yeti in 2016 then leased a new one in 2017 and they were great, forward to the Enyaq in 2023/24 and I’d be very reluctant to use them again, I asked about the red premium paint and they insisted it would be the full price (over £1000) even though other dealers were only charging the price difference to metallic. No interest in problems or any urgency about fixing things. Basically very interested in selling the car but nothing else.
Meanwhile I’m in Florida until next week, took my Autistic son over to meet up with his only friend and they’ve not came down to see him 🙁
Car hire was terrible, took 90m to get the car from Budget, it’s a Toyota Rav4 with the worst CVT gearbox I’ve ever driven! Trying to pull out to overtake and there’s a big delay for the gearing to settle, revs up massively then takes an age to gear down and provide drive 🙁
Other than that it’s massive thunderstorms every day with temps up to 39c but feeling a lot hotter, todays forecast says 30c but will feel like 42c!!

@Kezo They said car trouble but that was sorted by last weekend, now not sure about car managing the journey even though it’s had the repair and full service.
Nothing I can do about it, I can’t drive 8hrs up to Alabama and then back again. We fly back next Tuesday so not long to go. At least he got a good feed yesterday, took him to a BBQ place about 35 miles away, took 75min to get there!.
Prices here are much higher compared to when we were last over about 4 years ago, gas is $3.99 and food is also expensive, at least eggs are cheap, 98c for 12 👍

Just pick this up online on the 9th August the Kromberg & Schubert Automotive car plant in Ukraine Zhytomyr Oblast. The facility, which is fully German -owned wiring looms for Volkswagen and Skoda informing indefinite ceased production.
Cannot see our Skoda Enyaq being manufactured let alone delivered by December 2026.

The Škoda Enyaq is manufactured at Škoda Auto’s main production plant in Mladá Boleslav.
The wiring looms are manufactured in the Ukraine, no looms no production.

My dealership originally told me 4 months, this then turned into 6 months, guess what on month 7, and its still not here…theyve said itll likely be first week of November delivery. I ordered in March
We ordered the 9th July dealer gave a provisional date of December, have to admit the dealer has kept us updated, however, Skoda have contacted the dealer but not provided a built date, I am in no mad rush we still have the Suzuki Across.

We ordered ours on the 12th March 2026.
it was built Week 23 (23rd August).
it arrived at the dealers on 22nd September 2026 and we collected last Tuesday on 29 September .
About 6.5 to 7 months – although we were given an estimate of 4 months at time of order.

The plant was severely damaged in a Russian attack in August and is now out of operation, with no restart date. The plant is also used by BMW & Mercedes.
Never trust a salesman or woman!
