I don’t want to know, I might get depressed 😆

I mean the difference between the base trims and the sportline isnt that big unless theres things you need specifically, the big i needed were the surround cameras, as well as remote park assist plus the dcc.

My Sportline 85x was £2099 in Jan 2024, it had dropped twice between ordering and delivery so was previously higher.

Oh okay so it’s 3 times the price now for the non X version. But it’s had a facelift since then anyway. How is your car? Would you recommend it? I have an Audi Q4 right now which is the same car underneath. I like the torque and power but the build quality and the infotainment system is really bad in the Audi.

It’s OK, wouldn’t say it was much better than that.

I looked at the Q4 e-tron when I was looking around.  The dealer was by far the most helpful, only thing that put me off was internal space and comfort, both myself and my Autistic adult son are over 6ft.  The info display wasn’t great either.

Looked at the VW versions (ID3 & 4) and was completely underwhelmed, very poor quality interior etc.

The Enyaq facelift (current version) was pretty much cosmetic, didn’t change many of the issues with the hardware/software/App problems.  Still haven’t even changed the charging flap which is well known for failing (across a lot of the VV based cars not just EV’s, it’s been useless for years).

Hopefully the MY27 Enyaq etc. will be better, different chemistry battery and an Android based infotainment system.  Still looks like they’re using the hopeless cheap 4″ Chinese “sub-woofer” (same one used in the Audi) for the “upgraded” audio system, at least they’ve stopped fully enclosing it in a metal box under the boot floor!, this time it’s in the space between the floor and false floor.  Still won’t be paying extra for that again!.

Back to the Yaq, 14,000 miles in 30 months, 3 tyres under 3mm, 1 at 5mm, no idea why!.  Bridgestone 20″ tyres are completely useless in any amount of snow, wiper blades last about 18 months, replace with Bosch and much better.  Cabin is now vibrating even without the music playing, both front door panels, centre console where the phone goes etc etc. dealer not interested and as it’s going in January I’ll just live with it until then.

Would I have another? not if there’s an alternative with a decent range that I can fit into.  So far Toyota CH-R+ looks possible, had a sit in it but need a decent test drive, Urban Cruiser if it comes back on or for a runabout BYD ATTO 3 EVO (2026) if it comes on in October..

                      Hi All,

After 3 and a bit years in the wilderness (Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV lease ended in June 2023), I am about to rejoin and order an Enyaq.

Looking at SEL Plus, since I want/need the electric/memory driver’s seat and mirrors to avoid domestic annoyance. I will also get the Transport Pack for the raised boot floor.

I don’t understand why the Edition spec carries such a high AP compared to SEL, given that for a cash sale they are only about £2k difference, but hey ho.

I see Oscarmax has an Enyaq on order too.

The price for the Edition is crazy, we got an Edition 85 2 years ago, the AP was around £1000. It’s a great car though, absolutely love it.

I went for a factory order it has some serious updates i.e. Bosch battery increased range front boot plus V2H etc

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

Have they not given you a build week yet?

Ordered mid March, given build week 35 three weeks ago, hopefully back end of Sept early Oct delivery.

They did its due to be built this week, but it takes 4 – 8 weeks to be delivered to the UK then ive got to qair for adaptations to be fitted which they only notify the adaptations company a week before, some of my adaptations take a decent built time so its still a bit away.

I’m on my 7th motability vehicle didn’t know you could ask for a vehicle in stock always had to wait for build as for getting build date never been given one by 7 different dealers and when you contact them for an update it’s always the same answer they know nothing until vehicle actually arrives at ther dealership.

Yes, but you still have to fund £499, on pickup. You get the £250 gcb after you sign the new car. It doest take long a few days.

but £499 on pick up isnt as bad as £99 upfront and knowing I will get £250 back makes it more palatable
