I am confused now: what’s the difference between ID.5 which is Coupe and enyaq Coupe?

Yep same car but the Coupe bit probably got the Enyaq taken off, be my guess.

To be honest we may never know. Maybe Skoda took it off motability to price gouge and timed it with the coupe ban.

We just dont know the shenanigans they get up to.

That’d be my guess.  When cars were removed you could see the decision was made by someone who get to work by tube and doesn’t understand the full range of cars.  The Enyaq would easily have excluded itself because it’s name included “Coupe”.

The same theory goes for why Alfa Romeo was removed.  Despite it’s current ownership by Stellantis, making it a glorified Peugeot, some idiot remembered when it was a special breed of car alongside Lancia.  The same idiot forgot a few brands that really do consider themselves as premium brands and survived the cull (Polestar and Volvo, for examples).

What makes me laugh is Miller use to work for Autotrader, so you’d think he’d have the knowledge to carrect smeone, especially as he explained in a video!

I see they’ve messed around with trim level and the combination of packs available again 🤦

Before July 1st, my chosen model would have been 85 SEL with the Plus Pack and the Suite pack £3950.

On July 1st, you could only choose one of the packs, Suite or Plus, both at £2499.

Okay, not a problem, the Plus is more important to us, as it’s the electric memory seats and LED matrix headlights plus niceties like acoustic glass we wanted (the Plus Pack basically turns the SEL into the Edition).

The Suite allowed the option of cognac colour pretend leather seats with massage function, a nice-to-have but far from essential.

Now I see the Plus Pack has disappeared altogether today!

To get what we want, the Edition model is £5499.

Or, would Motability deign to allow us to order the base SEL and add the Plus Pack ourselves for a grand total of £3499?

It’s all a bit academic as we can’t order until December, but Mrs 72 dudes is getting very confused 😆

                Short answer should be yes.

While Motability offer some packs at a bit of a discount the dealer should offer any pack as an extra.

When I got my Sportline 85X there were no pack offers from Motability at all.  So wanting the Advanced pack I had to order that as an extra and pay the dealer for it separately.

The SEL Plus is back on the scheme after the tidy up.

Happy days! Hoping it remains and at a reasonable price by the end of the year

I only went for the Enyaq 85 84 SEL £999 plus £750 for the retractable towbar

                          Excellent, enjoy 🙂

Don’t know what the brakes are like on your current Across but the Enyaq needs a firm foot!  You do get used to them quite quickly though!.  When I had a Kamiq as a loan car just leaving the dealers car park and stopping at the junction I almost ended up in the windscreen!, really sharp braking on that!.

Just curious why you would that granny charger? Don’t Motability supply and fit an Ohme Home Pro (we did) when we ordered our Enyaq 85 SEL back on 12th March.

Only just moved to status 10 (Provisional build end od August). Was expecting to be driving it by now but at least we are getting the MY27 model with all the updates! Can’t go wrong with a £95 deposit too!

We were not asked for a deposit even for the optional retractable towbar.

To be honest with my low mileage, the ability to tow the caravan plus the £999 AP I would have been silly to walk away, hopefully you will stay on the forum after you leave the scheme your input in valuable. I will miss the old Suzuki it has been a brilliant reliable vehicle with excellent running cost.
