Hi folks,

my on scheme Škoda enyaq that I’ve had since April 24’ and has been trouble free has this morning thrown a warning at me.

“Electric drive not working correctly”

 

drives fine, stops fine, charges fine.

obviously with it being electric I’m slightly cautious of any warnings related to electrics.

my question, how long does Škoda assist apply to a Motability car I’ve seen differing views of 1yr or 3yrs? I’d imagine Škoda assist would be best served coming to it.

We also have the 24 Enyaq, I would imagine Skoda assist is just AA. I had Audi assist and an RAC van turned up. Worth ringing them, I’m sure they’ll tell you if you’re not covered, AA is far better than Motability’s breakdown service RAC.

Skoda Assist (AA) is only valid for 12 months from new, unless cover has been extended – unlikely!

@kezo as much as I dislike my Enyaq for the very many issues I have, the Skoda Assist is still up and running for me (mine is also from April 2024). A couple of months ago Skoda Assist and their Online Traffic Data (Infotainment Online ?) stopped working in the morning on my way to the office, but came back alive in the evening , on my way back home. I think Skoda extended it to 3 years from 2024 model.
