Should I Keep The BP Pulse?

I’ve just got a Hyundai Kona EV and already have a BP Pulse charger. Because the BP app no longer works I’m eligible for an Ohme, but apparently they don’t recognise Hyundai. Do you think that I should keep the BP Pulse, which is 3 or 4 years old, scheduling through the car, or go with the Ohme. Thanks.

Recent cars: Hyundai Kona Ultimate EV; Volkswagen Caddy Maxi wheelchair accessible; Skoda Enyaq iV SportLine; Vauxhall Mokka-E; Kia Soul EV, Hyundai Kona (again)

I have a Hyundai ioniq 6 and the Ohme charger recognises that car without any problem.

Smart tariffs such as Octopus intelligent do not recognise Hyundai API, so for Hyundai to be compatible with the said tariff, you need  a charger which is compatible, which Ohme is! As a smart charger it will be compatible with any smart tariff and also act, as a dumb charger in the same way your BP Pulse will, if you wish it to.

Its a no brainer to swop đŸ™‚

Hi, just saw your post about BP pulse.  i also have a BP pulse charger i never used the App as it was awful and very difficult to navigate and had not been updated for years on the IOS store.  i have been using IO via octopus right now on my VW ID.3 but i am in my 3rd year of ownership now and will need to change this time next year.

have Motability told you that because the BP Pulse does not offer a working app that you can change to OHME even though your charger is more than 3 years old?
