Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice.
I have a Peugeot 2008 through Motability. The car currently has around 25,000 miles on it and the service light has come on the dashboard.
I contacted my local Peugeot dealer to book it in for a service, but they refused and said they do not service vehicles under 30,000 miles.
I have now received an email from Peugeot Connect saying:
“Your Peugeot 2008 has notified us that it will soon need a service. To carry on driving with complete peace of mind, please make an appointment with your Peugeot workshop.”
I’m confused because the car itself is telling me it needs a service, but the dealer is refusing because of the mileage.
Also can anyone advise what Motability look for when deciding whether you qualify for the £750 good condition payment? Does having a full service history affect this?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
