I see from BBC news this morning that the Darts Legend Eric Bristow the Crafty Cockney, died at an event in Liverpool last night of a heart attack, at age 60, (same age as I am).
He was one of the Dart Players that I remember from the early eighties along with Jocky Willson, John Lowe Bobby George, who all played in the championships that were televised.
As Barry Hearn has stated he was a legend in the darts profession.
RIP Eric Bristow The Crafty Cockney.
