Good spot there BigDave.  The Ioniq is a cracking car and was nearly in my driveway…

It is not a bad offer is it? It is not very often that a dealership gives over £1k cashback.

Infact, if the Ioniq Hybrid is the vehicle someone is definitely interested in, it could be worth the drive upto Falkirk from England in order to get the £1099 cashback. They could even spend a couple of days up in Scotland both to submit the order and then to collect the car and still be ‘quids in’ with that deal.

No not often a good deal like that comes along…. in 2017 Chorley Nissan were offering £999 off the Leaf and I was prepared to travel for it but I asked a couple of dealers up here if they’d match it and one did 😁 so yes definitely worth a trip up but also as a bargaining tool in your local Hyundai garage 🤞

It looks like the £1099 cashback off the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid on Motability has spread across to Northern Ireland.

Charles Hurst in Dundonald County Down is offering it until 30th September 2020:

    https://www.charleshurstgroup.co.uk/hyundai/motability/offers

No sign of the same offer appearing in England or Wales (yet).

I spoke a bit too soon, £1099 Cashback off the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid is now available at Motorline Hyundai in Kent (Canterbury, Ashford & Maidstone), Gatwick, Hereford, Gloucester & Worcester.

    https://www.motorline.co.uk/motability/hyundai/offers/ioniq/#form

    Again until 30th September.

This may go Hyundai-wide – who knows?

From info from ‘another place’ it is believed that Pentraeth Mitsubishi in North Wales are giving up to £250 Advance Payment contribution (or Motability Cashback) with new Mitsubishi Motability cars. However the amount of ‘discount’ does seem variable according to model as it seems to be less than £50 off the petrol Outlanders from the Exceed AP you quoted.

£500 off the Ford Kuga on Motability for orders placed during September 2020 for delivery in 2020 at Taylors Ford in Boston & Skegness:

    https://www.taylorsford.co.uk/motability/

From what I understand many more Ford dealers will be also offering £500 off the Ford Kuga (selected models but does include some automatics and factory orders)  if ordered in September 2020 with delivery by the end of December 2020.

I will try to post more up as I find them.

For info, these are the Kuga models that Ford will apparently be offering the £500 discount on if ordered during September 2020 for delivery by 31st December 2020. Please note Kuga PHEV and Zetec trim models are excluded from the offer.

Table shows DLA/AFIP/PIP AP’s but it is also available on WPMS AP’s as well:

    Cheers guys,

Re the £500 off the Ford Kuga during September 2020, more dealers have posted this offer up over the weekend. A few examples:

    https://www.desmondmotors.co.uk/motability-offers/new-ford-kuga/

    https://www.leesonsgarage.co.uk/pages/motability

    https://www.johngrose.co.uk/new/cars/motability/ford

So, rather like the Hyundai Ioniq offer which spread to most dealers, it appears this one will do likewise.

If your local Ford dealer isn’t offering it, print off some of the offer pages and ask your dealer to match it. If they don’t, vote with your feet and go elsewhere.

Your best bet is probably Partridges of Hampshire offering £500 ‘Advance Payment Contibution’ off the entire Mini Motability range:

    Motability

Group One Auto Mini were offering the same but the vehicle has to be registered before 30th September 2020, so unless an ‘in stock’ vehicle that one will be difficult to achieve.

Plenty of other dealers were offering £250 off (or cashback) such as Stratstone, Marshall and Peter Vardy etc.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Stratstone Mini always seem to offer great deals as well. I got 750 off 2 and a half years ago.</p>

We’ve just signed deal at our local Williams MINI in Bolton last Saturday… today I’ve just found that great BigDave response with cashback at Partridge of Hampshire. It’s nearly 4 hours drive from us, so now thinking how to scrap deal at Bolton and sort out new one (with 500 cashback) with down south dealer (hopefully over the phone). Vehicle should be available for 29th Nov as current lease expiring Nov 30th….

You are going to have to work out whether the £500 off the AP is worth it in light of how far away you are from Hampshire.

You will need to make two trips to the supplying dealer’s premises – one to order the vehicle, the second to collect it. You cannot order over the phone, it has to be done in person at the dealer’s premises.

In light of traveling time and fuel costs etc, would looking at the £250 off from Stratstone be a better proposition, particularly if they have a branch much closer to you?

Another alternative would have been to copy out the offers available at other dealers and ask Williams Mini to match them, however this is a bit late if you have already ordered the vehicle at full price.

Mods – any chance of starting a new ‘Q4 2020 offers and deals’ sticky as the ones previously posted above expire today (30th Sept). It seems a faff to have to troll through expired offers to find the Q4 ones (if any actually do appear in Q4!).

    Thanks.
