Peugeot are one of those that we rarely see cashback deals on, if there are deals the prices are generally lowered by head-office to clear backlog of stock to make way for new revised models. That’s not to say we don’t keep looking, and will of course post any offerings we see as we find them.
Just found one for the Volvo V40 – £500 cashback from Bristol Street Motors. This is one of those rare ones where the cashback exceeds the AP, so you end up walking away with cash in your pocket!December 1, 2018 at 8:08 am #66536
£100 cashback on all Skoda’s at SparshattsDecember 1, 2018 at 8:13 am #66537December 1, 2018 at 8:17 am #66538
For our friends in N.Ireland, Saltmarine have £100 cashback on all Fords, and £200 cashback on all Hyundai’s.
Remember if you are not local to a dealer offering cashback, ask if your local dealer will pricematch – they can only say no.December 1, 2018 at 8:22 am #66539
Marshalls also have £500 cashback on the Volvo V40’s, same as Bristol Street Motors, mentioned above.
Also from Marshalls, but not mentioned on their website, confirmed from their South Oxford, and Reading dealerships, is £300 cashback of all VW’s.December 1, 2018 at 8:24 am #66540
Pentagon Motor Group have £200 cashback on all Alfa Romeo’s
£250 cashback on the JukeDecember 1, 2018 at 8:43 am #66541

Although i would question why anyone would take a Dacia on the scheme, Charles Hurst in N.Ireland is offering £100 cashback on all Dacia Sandero and Sandero Stepway models.December 1, 2018 at 8:49 am #66543
Mid Ulster Cars, again in N.Ireland are offering various cashback deals on Toyota models, examples – £100 cashback on a Auris, £95 on a Yaris, and £300 cashback on a Rav4December 1, 2018 at 8:52 am #66544

Another £250 cashback on the Juke, this time from Richard Sanders
Safe to say any Nissan dealer should be able to replicate this deal.December 5, 2018 at 1:22 pm #66795

Just spotted whilst trying to find some haggling ammo.
Bristol Street motors offering 250 cashback on any Citroen order placed before Dec 31st.
Unfortunately for me all their Citroen dealerships are in the MidlandsDecember 8, 2018 at 6:24 pm #67077
Nice spot Ben, and thanks for sharing.December 9, 2018 at 8:38 am #67108
Hi there, this is my first post, please forgive me if it’s already been posted. I’m looking for a Mitsubishi Outlander and was wondering if anyone knows of any discounts available on the AP or even a cash back. Many thanks.December 9, 2018 at 11:42 am #67115
Hi Gordon and welcome to the forum.
I had a quick search and Luscombe of Leeds are advertising £250 cashback on renewals, on their website[website link removed]
If this isn’t local to you, take a screen print or save the webpage to your phone and show your local dealer to see if they will pricematch the offer.
Good luck, the Outlander is a very popular car on the scheme, which variant is taking your fancy?
Web link removed as offer is non-existent.December 9, 2018 at 12:01 pm #67116
None of my local Citroen dealers will match the Bristol Street motors offer. Won’t budge one bit never mind not match it.
It’s actually like salesmen don’t want to sell things.
I’ll just wait see if Citroen prices leak and if not take a trip down to the Midlands on new new yrs eve.December 9, 2018 at 12:10 pm #67117
Unfortunately Ben if the dealership is on track with targets they see no gain from offering discounts.
Trick is finding ones that need to make up the sales numbers. Whilst motability sales don’t generate much profit compared to retail sales, they do count towards overall sales targets and that’s where the dealerships can generate big revenue. Quite often we hear of dealerships offering motability vehicles with offers that leave them with no profit or even a small loss, as the total sales figures are more important.
I envisage Q1 next year we will see more dealer offers as they approach their financial year end, and last chance to reach their targets.December 9, 2018 at 3:14 pm #67133
Hi Trev, thank you so much for that information. I’ll certainly give it a go. I live in the North East of Scotland and dealers are few and far between. It’s weird as they all seem to suffer from such apathy as there is so little competition!!! They never ever take any details from you, just give you a card and ask you to call if you are interested in a test drive. I already have a PHEV from 3 years ago and as the spec has improved since then, I’d like another one. I called into a dealer who advised me that it’s being removed from the scheme on the 1st of Jan, due to the government slashing the subsidy so I’d need to order ASAP. I was also looking at the X1 BMW but it’s somewhat annoying to to high they have increased the AP.December 9, 2018 at 4:34 pm #67138
No problem Gordon, most welcome. The dealer is correct in that the government stopped the £2.5k grant for phevs. This was back in October, but motability and Mitsubishi came to an agreement to keep it on the scheme till the end of the quarter. What is unclear is will the agreement be extended in to Q1, and i doubt that would have been communicated down to the dealer this early, but could be wrong.
In regards to the X1, Kelly Hare from Snows in Portsmouth has posted some offers this week, which can be found here – https://forum.whichmobilitycar.co.uk/forums/topic/bmw-motability-christmas-offers-kelly-hare/ unfortunately for you they are the other side of the country, but again you may find a local dealer willing to pricematch.
We are fast approaching an interesting time where Q4 ends, and Q1 begins – the past couple of quarters have shown motability really clamping down on pre-Q leaked prices, but being this is the quarter with bank holiday’s we are hoping to have an insight from a few manufacturers on the new quarter pricing a few days before they go live.
If the X1 is tinkering on your mind, i would arrange a test-drive now on the trim you desire, that way if the pricing changes, or deals appear, you are prepared. It could be you find the x1 not for you liking compared to the outlander, which at least you’ll have no ‘what if’s’ playing on your mind.
Good luck and keep us updated.December 13, 2018 at 6:07 pm #67448
Thank you for the link to the Mitsubishi possible cashback. I did contact them and it’s very misleading! They said that the £250 cashback was the good condition payment!!! And it’s now £500 so even more ‘cashback ‘. It’s a clever way of saying that it’s your good condition payment and there are no additional discounts. Not something a dealership should be doing. They also confirmed that the PHEV will be coming off the scheme at the end of the month.
regards Gordon.December 13, 2018 at 6:19 pm #67451
Luscombe are guilty of deliberately misleading advertising if they are inferring that the “good condition bonus” is their own AP cash reduction.
A call to the Motability help line would soon sort them out Gordon.
