December 31, 2025 at 2:31 pm #325030Thanks is there a link for Kuga
December 31, 2025 at 2:31 pm #325031Thanks
December 31, 2025 at 2:47 pm #325032Ford EV pricing making little sense, 52kWh the same AP as 77kWh.

December 31, 2025 at 4:15 pm #325521Not sure whether some subsidising is prevalent again or limited time offers, but what could be a popular vehicle this quarter assuming prices are correct, is the 81kWh Kia EV3 GT line S £3299.
It will also be interesting to see if theres the start of a trend of tatical based early terminatations over the course of Q1 and early Q2, due to the impeding implications?

Good point. I guess that some people will attempt to early terminate and re-order, so that they kick the can 3 years down the road of the (further) increases to APs, VAT & IHT additions, lower mileage restrictions etc. If so, I would expect Motability to tighten up on early termination criteria. Hopefully that won’t make it harder for those of us who may wish to terminate early in order to leave the scheme, as that won’t be seen as ‘playing the system’ 🤞
December 31, 2025 at 4:45 pm #325524Our lease 3 month notice 9th May 2026 lease end 10th August 2026, if we chose to stay with the scheme we are in a position to order in the second quarter before the VAT being added to the AP’s. Ideally we would have preferred to extend for another 24 months, if we stay with the scheme it would be a medium size EV with a low AP, if there will be such a thing in the 2nd quarter.
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

Wheres that time gone?
I don’t know if ringing grants will help, simply as way to extend or whether the typical financial checks still need to be done.
December 31, 2025 at 5:43 pm #325762In May I am going to try again to see if I can extend, you never know. Mind you a Kia EV4 with an AP of £499 could change my mind.

I’m going to be looking at the EV3 GT Line S, as it seems best of the bunch so far.
I’ll have my cardboard template to make sure it fits a wheelchair.I know it’s a bit smaller than QQ ePower I currently have. My 3 month order window starts on the 11th of Jan.
I have ASD and thus have difficulty with social and understanding information, written and verbal. I process information in logical blocks, before I reply. Sometimes I'm right and sometimes I'm wrong.
I also have a corneal visual condition, which makes me visually impaired without daytime, or daytime bulbs, among other disabilities/conditions.December 31, 2025 at 6:42 pm #325765In May I am going to try again to see if I can extend, you never know. Whats the EV4 towing like?

Some measurements, if of any use – along with a review of the vehicle.

January 1, 2026 at 2:38 pm #325816Did I see the Ionqi 6 Ultimate back on for under £3k?

Thanks, hard to read thinks with my eyes.
If you have one, could you tell me sometime, how high the front seat cushion base is from the ground in CM?

January 1, 2026 at 3:11 pm #325825I might just bite the bullet and test drive the Ionqi 6. The boot measurements from a youtube video means I’ll be able to fit a wheelchair in the boot flat. Which is what it’s currently doing in the Qashqai.

Surprised to see the KGM Torres come off.
Also surprised to see the KGM Actyon stay on at £1999. Its the petrol version that has the red seatbelts and interior accents. These red elements are not to my taste personally. The hybrid that’s coming down the line doesn’t seem to have the red accents, so who knows, it maybe of future interest 🤔

Is that the seat at it’s lowest setting?
How are you finding the Ionqi 6 to live with?
Even though the car is for me. I have to think of my elderly mum. I sometimes have to help lift her legs over the door sill of our current QQ. I thought a lower car might make it a little easier for her.

If you go for the ultimate trim the memory seats are brilliant as is the seat ventilation in the summer. I can say hand on heart it is the best car i have leased on the scheme i really cannot find a single fault with it. It has been brilliant and my only fear was having to pay the advance payment again to get another one but now it looks like Motability may be throwing lease extensions out as lifelines so if that is the case i will not hesitate to extend for a further 2 years and even then i will be sad to see it go.

I’ve been blessed with having an electric drive train on the QQ ePower, and it was just a fun drive with it’s linear acceleration. I don’t think I could go back to just combustion so soon.
I just fancy a change from an SUV position. The Ultimate is just top of end of my budget, and the same QQ is £3.3k. So there’s really not that much in it.
How is the BOSE audio, I like my music, being a former 90s DJ?

My first time back to a car type vehicle and i love it. The Bose hifi is unreal and very loud and the interior is just so well built its right up there with an Audi and a BMW i previously had. Biggest shock to me was the acceleration in sport mode its like a rocket from the lights and shocks anyone at the side of you trying to beat you to the merge point lol it really is like driving a high end jag and nobody who has ever travelled in it makes anything but positive comments. The only downside if i have to pick one is the size it really is deceiving how long it is but with all the assistance tech added to it you soon having it behaving like a small hatchback.

The length doesn’t bother me too much, as I did a bout of driving armoured cash in transit long wheelbase Sprinters and 7.5t+ lorries, in my youthful healthier days.
I just hope my nearest dealership allows me to take an unsupervised extended test drive.
Also just like you, I own a 3D printer that my daughter likes to play around with.
