i have been bed bound since christmas 24 . Muscle atrophy has set in and not starting physio until feb so i doubt i’ll be walking again before i have to renew in april/may 26 how do i renew my lease if i can’t attend a dealers. my current car is a seat ateca which seams to have disappeared from the scheme. If my wife renews for me and for example we get a mini countryman. if i find the mini too small when i’m eventually back driving would mobility let me end the lease early to find a larger vehicle

Best imo to first pick a car that will suit you both as the scheme is getting tougher

The countryman is longer than before by about 5 to 6 inches and is now a big family car so maybe it will not be to small

        Electric 300+ bhp looks fun

The new MINI Countryman (third generation) is significantly larger than its predecessor, measuring approximately 4,433–4,445 mm in length, 1,843 mm in width, and 1,635–1,656 mm in height.

I would definitely give Motability a ring and see if they’ll extend for 6 months until you’re back on your feet, that or ring the grants team and go for the full 2 years, take the pressure off.

          I hope you’re better soon.

Have a look at the VW Tiguan or Skoda Karoq.

They’re basically the same car as the Ateca, all built on the same platform.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

Skoda Enyaq is also large, bigger than a Qashqai. Well it seemed to be when I test drove the Skoda.
