Speaking of delivery times, I have tried and tried to get an estimate as to how long the build times are for the Peugeot Rifter from numerous main dealers and from Peugeot UK and none of them will give me any kind of number on this, all I get is drivel about a fluid situation with Brexit looming, I need to know if it’s going to be 3 months or a year, how hard can it be?”?

Pop into another Peugeot dealer nearby vinal and tell them you’re a cash buyer & you’re interested in the new Rifter ; how long for delivery waiting times, etc. I bet you soon have your answer!

            1. I have a 5008 for a year and a half. It’s done around 23k without a single problem so far. We use it pretty much daily to take our girls to school and we go to Wales alot. It’s the 2.0l 150bhp. Pulls very good up hills. Fuel eco is not to bad at around 60mpg. We use the 7 seats when needed. We will most likely get another in 2021 hopefully a hybrid if they are on the scheme.

We bought our peugeot 5008 4yrs ago from new, loved it at first. It went in for regular services. On the third service it has never been right since. It developed a leak, which peugeot fixed, I think due to their fault as we were never charged, but since then the oil light keeps coming on and we keep having to top up with oil. It’s been back a few times, with them saying its just sensitive. We took it elsewhere for its mot and I told them about the problem. I was assured there was no oil leaks and that it was possibly due to the fact that as its a 1.2 l the car is to big forcthe engine. Had anyone else had similar problems or knowledge to advise us. Needless to say we’re going back to dealers again
