petrol and diesel cars banned by 2030?

    Oscarmax in Scotland we have a date of 2032 and admirable as the date and intentions are it is likely to fail. Not because people don’t want to change to an EV but the supply just isn’t there. This may change as many companies have said they will convert to EVs by 2025 but we will have to wait and see.

    The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
    Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.

    I will be retired by then, so my huge daily mileage will have reduced considerably, no more requirement for a diesel and a hybrid or EV would suit me just fine.

    Would still be around 10k per year though as we live out in the sticks.

    In life, it's not who you know that's important, it's how your wife found out.

    i remember in the 70s it was predicted that by the year 2000 we’d be driving flying cars also at some point someone came up with the idea of solar panels to produce our own electric so i personally rekon banned diesel and petrol cars by 2030 could be a bit ambitious not unlike the above
