Having ordered the RAV4, but won’t be here till next March, I am thinking king of alternatives, I see the Nissan X-Trail 1.7dCi Tekna 5dr (auto) has come on the scheme recently.

What are others experience of the X-Trail?

Hammerhead, which colour have you chosen, am thinking of going with the monarch orange.

Dealer advised I can have any colour, if order within next few weeks, here for September

When does your new one arrive

Storm White, I wanted the Orange but was over ruled (fair enough as I choose the vehicle, as I drive but the missus chooses the colour, as she is the motability customer).

Arrives at the dealer 2nd August so hopefully collect a week or so later. Car is currently somewhere in the North Pacific Ocean 😉

The 1.3 petrol auto engine is out of the Qashqai and is a dual clutch box (better than the CVT). However, the diesel auto is the dreaded CVT (which is why I’m going manual).
