Having run two of the boxy X Trails previously, I’m very much liking Nissan’s design shift on the model, back to a more muscular overall look.

Time will tell whether we see it on the scheme in any decent level of specification.

I’m not usually a fan of white cars so much, but the new design suits it I think …

Had a live chat with motability today. I asked if more specs of XTrail will come back on scheme for Q2.

It was a bit of a cryptic response, but …. it wasn’t a ‘no’.

        Watch this space.

I’ve had confirmed to me the e4orce will be available on the Accenta Premium, so there will definitely be some additions.

I think it’s fair to say thst if the Tekna spec makes it on zt some point at sensible money, that’s gonna be the deal maker

The Tekna or, better still, Tekna+ eForce would certainly be a car we would take a look at (if the AP isn’t silly) , although the boot on the last generation X-Trail was no bigger than the Qashqai, so I hope that they have improved it with the new model.

Hmm ?,  Tekna+ Eforce could be a stretch but hey, hope is a good thing ??‍♂️

Indeed. We all live in hope, but a Nissan is nothing exotic and there are more expensive cars on the scheme! I wouldn’t bother if it was over £3k though, which I suspect it would be.

Essentially, it’s the price cap that must be considered, as that will put anything over this out of contention

The supposed price caps are used by Motability, and also ignored by them, whenever it suits them. It’s a farce. There is no logical reason for any price cap whatsoever, as long as additional leasing costs are covered by the AP.
