    It would be interesting if the xc40 phev and the xc60 came on at the same time, decisions, decisions.

    Bri a clear decision if they are both suitable in size.

    I’ll wait for the new XC60 phev and hope they make it out of used loo rolls to keep the price down. 😂

    You will have to log in again Mike, email me if you are having problems, we had to do a bit of tinkering this afternoon as there was a problem with the Moderators accessing the site.

    OOOH, a list of cars that “will come on the scheme in 2020” really, so this rep you spoke to has the actual list of cars and all the deals have been done?

    What about the fact none of the reps ever know what’s going to happen to the cars already on the scheme in the next quarter never mind next year!

    I won’t be holding my breath.

    @vinalspin

    The Motability phone team are sometimes keen to share information over ‘pending’ cars from the list of possibles (cars they have been told are being negotiated). This information is usually pretty accurate but there will be some from this list that never make it or suffer long delays, such as the Nissan Leaf and the VW T-Cross, to name but two.

    From the list that SUVguy put up, the CLA is already on, the prius plugin has been on and off over the last couple of quarters, the Audi’s – no surprise (A3 Sport refers to Sportback), the Mirage, doubt anyone will notice so the only stand out is the XC40 PHEV, which we were told about and posted last month. With the AP on the Electric Hyundai nearly 6K perhaps there is some scope to have large AP’s for Electric cars it seems.

    The all electric (BEV) XC40&60 are due out next year, I would pay a £6000 AP for an XC60 BEV but not much else.

    Not much point in calling as even if everything that is on their list does make it on to the scheme none would be any good for me.

    Maybe they’re planning a substantial hike in the cap, even if only for e & phev type vehicles.

    Even if they brought the cap in line with the jump in retail car prices that all manufacturers have imposed since the cap was put in place would be a start.

    If they did raise the cap to 41k most cars of this price tag are way over 200bhp.

    Unless they raise that too it won’t come on the scheme.

    I would hope the 200bhp cap would be revisisted.  Especially with most EV or hybrid vehicles producing more than this.

    I thought the cap was higher for EV / hybrid, I’m sure the mini hybrid is over 220.
