Picking up our Hyundai IONIQ 5 N Line S in Ecotronic Grey Matte on Monday 18th August 2025. Very excited!
Ordered mid-May, so a surprisingly short wait. Tracked the ship all around Africa and up in to Tilbury, watched the Hyundai tracking website as it passed through the import centre at the docks. It’s finally at the dealership and being PDI’d.
Everything is ready – 2nd hand rubber matts in the garage, roof bars acquired and ready to fit, tow bar fitment booked for later in the month.
Last thing is to switch our Octopus tariff to Intelligent Octopus Go – shall I do this now and start reaping the savings from the cheap overnight rate? I read that you must link the car within seven days, which shouldn’t be a problem.
Eeeek!

Exciting times!
If I remember correctly, you can only switch over to IOG when you have the car and it’s plugged in.
There must have been some reason why I didn’t switch until I had the car.
