The new Ford Kuga will start from £23,995, and has arrived on the UK market with three hybrid versions – including a plug-in – in its range
Ford has opened UK order books for the all-new Kuga SUV. The third generation of Ford’s biggest-selling SUV is priced from £23,995, setting its sights on rivals like the Skoda Karoq and the Nissan Qashqai.It’s the first model from the brand to be launched with a trio of hybrid powertrains, including the 201.8mpg-rated plug-in hybrid variant. This model is priced from between £33,095 and £36,495 depending on whether you go for the Titanium, ST-Line or ST-Line X variants.

Power comes from a mix of a 2.5-litre petrol engine and an electric motor, driven by a 10.3kWh lithium-ion battery. Ford says it develops 223bhp and should emit just 26g/km of CO2.
