I saw a video on YouTube of a guy growing spring onions. He basically cut the roots of his bunch of shop bought spring onions, like you do when you’re preparing them, he the just pushed the trimmed roots into soil and they grew. So I tried it and got some fantastic spring onions in around 4 weeks.

You can grow them in water, whuch my daughter enjoyed, as she could see them grow.

I didn’t know you could grow them in water, I’ll give it a go. Less chance of the pesky squirrels getting them.
