It would have to be a tiny one to be under the cap.
    They are mighty expensive.

Never is more realistic than expecting such, Cheers Mike

Too much depreciation in value, and as said very expensive.

Is it true you have to have a fixed address to get benefits ?  Hence I couldn’t live in a quality £100.000 motor home and tour

If Motability put a camper van on the scheme it would probably be the Bedford Rascal with a £5,000 advanced payment.

If and that’s a big if a Motorhome came on the scheme it would have one hell of an AP, we tow a little old caravan behind our Motability car, well I should say did.

In 2005 I suffered a brain injury which has left me with mental and physical disabilities.
Unfortunately I do get confused and get things wrong, so I apologise in advance.

Bob can you still get the bedford rascal

I’m no expert but as camper vans  go a Vw California is over £50k and you can easily spend a lot more with options.
saying that I’m not sure if anyone makes one cheaper?
So the day it comes on the scheme expect M3/4 BMW’s, Range Rovers and Porsche caymans too.
Now that would be a great quarter. 😎

Don’t think they’d ever make the scheme not exactly practical for day to day use. They’ve just changed the tax system so they cost a lot more now as well.

I was considering a VW Transport with the possibility of buying at end of a lease (5 years so I could sfford it) and having it converted to a camper of soughts. Could also do this with several others like the Peugeot Rifter. lots of specialists out there.

Menorca Mike, in a previous existence we had one of those Elddis Nippers from new. We loved it but it just didn’t work. The electrical system didn’t work correctly. It either ‘boiled’ the battery or wouldn’t charge it. It spent ages with the dealer and they couldn’t sort it. We ended up getting our money back!

Hi Martino, Motability should approach Bedford to get the Rascal camper van back in production, They could maybe bring it up to date with doorless entry instead of keyless, and a new elevated roof to make it into a 6 birth, it would make Motability more money than a Darius Duster.

Same time as the plug in all electric flying pigs arrive on the scheme I reckon.

Motability provides cars for transport not for holidays.

what makes you think we can’t use our scheme cars  for holidays? It even comes with Europe wide insurance for free.
