Back from my travels a few days early.
Before I went away I had an appointment with my orthopaedic surgeon due to pain in my ‘good’ i.e. only knee. After a scan, I was told I needed my knee replaced due to an old injury from my forces days with arthritis now set in.
So, am booked into the Nuffield for it to be replaced later this week. It is a bit more complex than normal being an ‘other’ leg amputee using as e-prosthetic, but should make it easier for me into get into/out of tractors etc again.
So will be out of commission for a few days then office bound for a couple of months when back on the farms!
Anyway, will try to sniff out a few offers before I go in, albeit apart from what has already been posted, there doesn’t seem to be too many about at the moment but here is one for delivery in the next quarter:

Probably a daft question, but are these offers only available to certain dealerships?
Typically, yes. You might be able to take a picture of the offer and present it to your local dealer who might consider it, it never hurts to ask, but mainly and especially for significant discounts it’ll be that one dealer who has put aside other income to subsidise these deals.

@BigDave How’s the knee?
The surgery I witnessed was to give me a clear reason for the costs, what I didn’t expect was the hardware. Surgical equipment supplied by Black & Decker, hammer, chisels, drills and saws all required to remove the old joint and attach the new one. I’ve seen carpenters attack a piece of wood with more subtlety. No wonder the new joint hurts so much for a while.
The end results were very effective, so I was told, with reports the patient was able to walk in to the follow up appointment perfectly.
