Had a look at these accounts, couldn’t work out what was what, bit over my head, guess that there are still anomalies within these, and that they have an enormous amount  of money as surplus again!

Must admit i got flummoxed on the 2nd page with the list of patrons and governors, etc

As i understand the term Patron is defined as ‘to give benefit’…. so what benefit do these patrons give the scheme? The queen i understand in name would do, but the others??

Ahh.. as i type i find this…

Charitable and other non-profit making organisations often seek an influential figurehead to act as patron. The relationship often does not involve money. As well as conferring credibility, these people can use their contacts and charisma to assist the organisation to raise funds or to affect government policy.

Think i understand now, so when does May jump onboard? lol
