Hi all,
Out of curiosity, would anyone know why Motability have the Mitsubishi Outlander on the scheme, but not the Shogun.
Looking at various dealers, I noticed that the OTR price for a Shogun is actually less than the OTR of the Outlander! Seems weird, I’d love a Shogun!
Shogun Sport OTR from £29,999 – £32,499! They also have a model/ trim where it’s a “front seat only” layout so the back is practically a van, it’s the Commercial trim. Not everyone’s cup of tea but ideal for some who have to transport various equipment/ scooters etc.
The Outlander OTR: £28,365 – £30,985!
As for the Motability price cap, Mitsubishi also supply the PHEV models of the Outlander, OTR £35,760 for the Verve trim and £36,770 for the Design.
Weird. Is this common, as in better more “suitable” vehicles are available but Motability just “choose” which to have on the scheme? Or, do the dealers, in this case Mitsubishi say, nope, we stop at the Outlander?
I think someone raised a similar point regarding Mercedes, I can’t find that thread, apologies if I’ve double posted. Ideas, anyone?
