This one > 150kW E Monochrome 66kWh 5dr Auto : Model REF number: 664167.
After contacting various Mini dealers for basic information on the base specs, I keep receiving different answers !
So….does the base spec model of the Mini Countryman Monochrome (Level big fat zero, poverty model, just the bread without the butter, only the left sock), come with:
The head up display?
Also, why does Motability show it in Green when it only comes in Black or White (i.e M..o..n..o..c..h..r…o..m..e).
Answers on a post-card to :
What’s included in the Green Mini……

Well happy to say car now ordered
One snippet that I did pick up on although it will have no affect on my order
There is a high probability that the Mini monochrome could in the short term be pulled from the scheme come July
Monochrome wheels are in short supply causing a big back log
Also I was told that 17 of the last 40 minis that were ordered were all via the motorbility scheme

I hope to put my order in on 28 June; however, if Mini removed it from the scheme and didn’t notify me until after July 1 then I have a dilemma. At that point I would have to order an alternative and come under the new rules which I don’t want to do.
So, I will chat with Mini and Kia closer to the time and get an indication of the situation. If Mini are not that confident it wont be removed, I’ll go with the EV3.

If the Mini is still on the scheme on the 28th and remove it on 1st July, your order will be locked in and honoured. The dilema, I see if Mini is in short supply is a long wait time.
@jojo22 congrats, did you order the All 4?June 1, 2026 at 1:44 pm #361953If the Mini is still on the scheme on the 28th and remove it on 1st July, your order will be locked in and honoured. The dilema, I see if Mini is in short supply is a long wait time.
@kezo I don’t mind that, it will allow plenty of time for the charger to be installed. I also quite enjoy the Tucson and would quite happily have extended the lease if a) the changes didn’t come in, and b) I could.June 1, 2026 at 3:46 pm #361956Just to up date above
I said 17 of 40 minis were on order at my dealers via motorbility
It should have said 17/30 so over half of all minis on order
Kezo yes I ordered Classic All4 in blazing blue with white roof and caps Grey blue vescin/cloth seats that do look very nice tbh
Something else new to me and I am not sure if its unique to just Mini
I now know that Mini APS are not paid directly to dealer at pickup but you pay Mini you AP directly via bank transfer ONCE CONTACTED
I assume at least a couple of days prior to pick up to allow funds to clear
So therefore it goes hand in hand that if a pin is not put in ( whatever the reason) everyone would have to then wait to get their AP back ( I assume this is how things would have to work )
The monochrome is such a great deal at the moment and tbh all MINI EVs inc the ALL4 APs are very attractive.
But I feel that (based on gut feeling alone) LOW AP may not last much longer but there again if my Mini dealers figures are indicative across all dealers then Mini may not want to upset a strong income stream
I am sure the whole picture is far more complex to even try and predict
As far as the monochrome being pulled is concerned its wait and see but the prediction is quite probable
EDIT: Foot note for anyone looking back at this
Myend of lease 1/9/2026
Ordered 1/6/2026 Classic Countryman ALL4 Blazing Blue all things standard spec no mods
ALL4 are having no production issues as of now
My order Countryman Classic All 4 delivery as it stands today is expected to be OCT
But as most of us know that can and may well fluctuate going forward

I will show original and imo the update sucks
And looks like I will have to suck it up
But not a deal breaker in the grand scheme of things

Those have always been the basic wheels for the Classic C Countrymans (Countrymen?) since it launched in 2024.
