Seen one one of these ‘in the flesh’ today, and… WOW!!!
think it may make it on the scheme?

It’s been discussed at length, all at the same conclusion. Unfortunately the shape and the power just mean that Motability can’t look at it whilst under the scrutiny they’ve been facing. Effectively a Chinese Knock off Tesla the IM6 (Model Y) and IM5 (Model 3) have used little effort to mask the likenesses, which means if you like the Tesla looks, you’ll love these.
If you’ve not seen much about these, look at the IM6 Performance. Guaranteed never to see the Scheme.

Even if it did come on the scheme, I’d make sure that you gat at least a 24 hour test drive. The review is terrible. Only 5/10 with the comment “appalling ride” and a summary that says;
WHAT’S THE VERDICT?
“The poor comfort levels and banal dynamics suggests MG had too big a job on its hands getting this anywhere near Europe-ready”Even the sales people I’ve spoken to have only mentioned the speed and acceleration. Almost as if they realise it’s a one trick pony.
It showed so much potential and it’s a nice place to sit, while it’s standing still but I can see why it’ll not make it through the reviews, the suspension needs to keep the car on the road, which is a challenge when it’s got a huge battery to lug around.
