Has anyone ordered a MG HS recently? We’ve been told by one dealership that demand is so high that if we order now it might not arrive until next year but another dealership said there’s no issue and that they usually have them in stock, they’d just sold 15 from stock! Wondering what delivery times people have been quoted.

We intend to order the auto in excite spec. Not sure on colour, despite how popular they are I am yet to see any colour that isn’t blue.

Also has anyone managed an AP discount? Every dealership I try says they cannot, no full tank of fuel either. £10 fuel at the most. AP on the auto excite is only £199 so not the end of the world but we’ve managed discounts in the past.

For anyone that needs to know, a standard adult folding wheelchair with folding handles does fit in the boot. The rear seats are recliners and I had to move them upright a small amount.

Has anyone had any news on their car ? As its gone very quiet with my dealer for nearly a month now,  and it would be nice to hear any good news from anyone it just shows things are happening somewhere and gives the rest of us some hope I know at least two ships have delivered in the last week  but have heard no one getting that phone call to say your car is ready

Ordered my new HS Exciite in white with promised delivery in May, however on requesting update was eventually told by dealer that although order was confirmed etc he was unable to track order with MG in China.

So on reading this forum I’m somewhat pessimistic on delivery to say the least , pity as was impressed on the test drive !!.

I hope that if car is delayed that MG will sweeten the deal with some form of compensation for the inconvenience eg : upgrade & or freebies ……Lol !

I called my dealer yet again and he said its still on the water and still mid to end of march getting feb up now I think the dealer should know exactly where and when they will receive the cars. You a track a pizza better than a car it just stupid

Had a call from dealer today saying the car should be with them by the 29th of march but they have to do there checks so it will be April before I get it. Still fed up but seem to be going in the right direction

Thats good news I’m happy for you,  when were you told you would take delivery  ? Is this what you have been told in the past by dealer Martin? At least you have light at the end of a very long tunnel,  when did you first order

Tried to order MG HS to day .. MG no longer taking orders for petrol cars…..

No not heard anything since 4th February just to say order had been accepted for new colour I take it I go to the back queue so God knows what happens now,

Also wife has said on Facebook people are saying MG are no longer taking orders for petrol cars,  looking like MG only interested in battery operated rubbish cars

Has anyone had any good news about deliveries as two ships have arrived in the last few days.  It’s gone so quiet on this form? Or have you all got your cars  ? Highly unlikely! Or just given up the will live ? With MG customer services,  it the worst I’ve ever encountered

Good  news Mr BMW hope your happy with it , can I ask what colour it is ? I’ve been waiting nearly nine months now ordered blue had to change it to pearl white to get a car  heard tonight someone ordered in February 2022 picking up next week, some sort favouritism going on somewhere

I’ve ordered a Black exclusive automatic I really wanted the red! but almost as rare the blue, WoW nearly 9 months that’s terrible I thought waiting just over 7 months was bad! Yes some people seem to have the luck ? of I don’t know what! When it comes to delivery times, I hope you don’t have to wait to much longer for your HS ??

Have heard from my dealer this afternoon to give a delivery date which is July 10th and that’ll be 2 days  short of one year since I placed order on 12th July last year and that’s if it’s on time, they said there is a chance it could be earlier but don’t hold your breath,  so all round pretty  shit

New at posting on the forum.

Have been following this daily for 6 mths and it is a great means of support during testing times.

Ordered a MG HS in Jan 2022,

First delivery date april/may

Then changed to July

Received an email this morning saying due to the wiring looms being manufactured in ukraine, we are looking at further delays. Delivery date bunped to August/September. ☹️  losing the will

Yes, had email today confirming the same thing, been told will be August/September hopefully was supposed to be May/June, and also now been transferred to different person due to original Motability person moving into management position.
