It’s understandable pandemic has caused so many delays ,chip rubber aluminium shortages ,chip manufacturers when where in production makeing chips for TVs etc, different type chip, not for autos ,it was thought new car demand after covid would be low,however it went crazy, big demand both new & used cars,manufacturers say will make own chips in future, but it’s difficult thing anti static dust free factory’s etc.
Big fire in chip factory Texas or Japan ,closeurs.

That was allegedly the reason. Their books are brimmed with motability orders, so they pulled out to get through them first.
I remain sceptical, but i certainly would welcome it.

On Order: VW Golf GTE PHEV DSG MY23Yes one has to be carefull but I read it on several group1 mercedes sites under motability, it’s not so much motability orders it’s orders from retail customers, CLA is BRILLIENT car wonderfull artificial intelligence ,tech ,MBUX augmentive satnav etc ,crist you can even ask it to tell you a joke ,it will she will, my order I got in before July £5700 ap PREM plus driver pack,but ,but waiting ,told Nov,really believe it when I see it, weid times.
And yes can see why motability mercedes suspended,can’t deliver, I’ve lost spec items my dealers informed me ,no auto tailgate pack,basic sound system now, no hands free phone charger, don’t care about that, magic kit still there.

Do I see Skoda have gone ? Prob temporary.

Double check on that. Last time i checked, parktronic as well as the AR part of the MBUX system are gone too.

Parktronic removed some time ago European law did not think it was as they wanted it,so mercedes disabled it ,but you pay same ?.
Advanced Led lights still on
car but I’m not sure if the block for incoming cars has gone, chip saving I’m told.
I’m sure they are only changes.
