Been looking for some new sealed batteries for my Shoprider GoGo mobility scooter, I came across this site 12v 12amp LiFePO4 lithium battery direct replacement for standard sealed batteries £69 each. less than half the weight  1.55kg each and virtual twice the capacity of a conventional 12amp battery. ECO Tree Lithium.

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

LiFePo4 batteries are fantastic and ECO Tree Lithium have a great reputation, sadly that battery looks to be out of stock.

Amazon have one listed for £55 and should you wish to buy direct from China (ali express or the like) you could make a greater saving.

As Kezo points out, these LiFePo4 batteries require a higher voltage to charge, 14.6 volts against 13.6 in my case so using a regular battery charger I can only get 70% of charge without buying a new charger. Should your battery charge inside the scooter you could find a similar outcome, should it charge outside you will require a new charger I suspect.

I eventually chickened out and went for 2 x 22amp sealed batteries, I have not used my scooter for just over 5 years since my little dog past away, I am hoping using the scooter again will be a tempory hitch until my heath improves again.

And as we speak they have just arrived.
