Don’t know what version of Kuga you have ordered but I ordered an ST-Line X FHEV end of November 25 and was in the dealership in January 26 awaiting my collection time for the end of February.
The FHEV and PHEV might be in demand now due to World conflicts and petrol prices.
Sorry I just noticed you said the 1.5 so assume that’s the petrol only version, I don’t know why there would be delays on that model.
The reason for the delay is all 24 and 25 Ford Kuga 2.5 petrol hybrid have been recalled. Thousand of the kugas are used by the car hire companies.
They are getting them replaced non stop with new 26 plate kugas which are not subject to the recall that the 24 and 25 plates are subject to. And Ford do not have a fix yet for the recalled ones.
hi bob mac here after a time away. I ordered ford kuga 1.5 in february, still no sign of delivery date. Dealer says its down to huge demand. anyone else have same problem ?
Was this a factory order with options as there are currently 72 x 1.5 Eco Boost Kugas showing in Ford UK’s inventory. My last 2 Kugas (1.5 Eco Boost and 2.5 PHEV) both came from stock within a few weeks of ordering.

I don’t know I collected 220 Ford kugas from one car hire business in N.Ireland. All now in storage waiting for a fix.
AFAIK the only thing I’m seeing currently in Kuga forums and GOV.UK is for the Plug-in hybrid where Ford are recommending not to charge above 80% due to fire risk. No current recalls on any other MY26 models.
PHEV besides the delays in other Kuga’s are due to that good old excuse, component shortages.

You never mentioned the most important bit of the problem besides the 80% they are not to be driven on snow or mud. The reason for that is beyond me.
