Had to do a last minute emergency journey late last night across the Lancashire moors, some motorway and A roads. The temperature wasn’t too bad at around 8c but the rain and wind were horrendous. The rain was none stop, I could barely see it was that heavy. I did around 70 miles and the car used 36 % of the battery. That’s the worst I’ve experienced since getting the car. Driving in heavy rain really does drain the battery.

Lets hope that emergency journey and combination of open road/heavy rain/strong wind/lights/blower/temp remain a rare occurance

As many of us have already experienced EVs or indeed any other vehicles efficiency can be compromised  by such a combination

Main thing is you returned safe and sound
