Hi am named driver on my mother’s motabilty car and I live within  the boundaries to qualify to be her driver as she can’t I take her to all of her appointment and we go shopping and take her out on days out am wondering what is the state of play of me using the car to go to my work or using it to go out with my kids is that class of abuse and would insurance be voided as my mother wasn’t in the car or benefit her directly ?

Your mother doesn’t have to be in the car, but any journeys should be for her benefit.

It’s not abuse it will be classed as fraud and as so if found out your mum could lose the car…
