I’ve never named my cars but I think I’d call mine The ‘Berg as in iceberg. Because it’s Glacier Silver. ?

Never named any of them, but I used to speak encouragingly to both Vauxhall GTCs and pat the dashboard when they did well. Current Golf GT doesn’t really inspire affection: it’s more efficient, has better fuel economy, has better performance and a has higher specs – but it’s soulless.

We have three cars in the household. The main one is the X1 and is simply called “the car”. If we’re talking about either of the others it’s “the Jazz” or “the Mazda”. We like to keep things simple! MrsW occasionally calls the Mazda the Mazz but I discourage it…

I switch up the name of our current X2 on occasion from Atticus to Helga and vice-versa. The CH-R was referred to as “The Spaceship” due to its design and the Evoque, ‘Matilda’.
