You need the order number that the Audi dealer ordered your car with direct to Audi

I ordered a VW and the salesperson gave me the order number they sent to Vw ,can now track

You guys must have that patience of saints! 7 or 8 months after ordering and not only have you not got your cars yet but you don’t even know where they are in the queue. Unless everyone else who has ordered a Q3’s is waiting 9 months plus for their cars then I strongly suspect that your dealers had no available build allocations when you ordered and sat on it for a few months. Hope that you get some answers soon. Our new BMW X1 will be 4 months from order to delivery and that has been long enough!

Eight weeks and a day for our XC40, Glos Guy. It’s expected at the Dealers tomorrow!    *smug*

Brilliant news. Well done. Our X1 has supposedly been built and is still on track for delivery at the end of this month, but I maintain my healthy degree of scepticism. I will believe it when I’m sat in it 😂

Glos Guy, ours was, I’m told, built last week, and it was in the country Monday.  I’m guessing having the factory right next to the Ghent sea canal has its advantages.

I ordered the Q3 Black Edition on 24th April and had an email from the dealer about a week later informing me that my car build date was week 30.About a month later I had another email saying the build date has come forward 6 weeks from week 30 to week 24 (starts the 14th of June). The Audi dealer emailed me on the 21st of June to say it’s been built and then I had a follow up email on the 29th to say it’s at a European port ready to be shipped. In the email it said delivery would be between 3 to 4 weeks,so hopefully I should have it by the end of July. The Audi mobility specialist has been great and have kept me up to date  with any information he’s received.Going by my experience of dealing with Bristol Audi,I would recommend Mark the mobility specialist for keeping me in the loop with any developments regarding my order.

Great feedback Bren, especially as Audi Bristol is our nearest dealership. We didn’t get to go there as the Q3 didn’t have some of the kit that we wanted and we also preferred a more powerful engine plus 4WD, but we like Audi and will bear this in mind next time. Sadly, your feedback tends to confirm my theory that the issues that the others have been experiencing are not due to build delays but dealers not placing the order with the manufacturer in a timely manner, which will be down to build allocations (not that the dealers will ever admit to this).

    Hi Bren

Did you get any more news regarding your car? I’ve also ordered a Q3 and dealer emailed me on 3rd July to say it had been built (about 4  weeks later than i expected) and was on it’s way to UK. I’ve just checked in with dealer and now it’s apparently stuck in port someone on continent. Given I ordered the car in April I’m now considering seeing if i can get my deposit back.

Scott, were you told how long you would have to wait for your car. Mine is delayed too.
