    And then add about 10%, just tried it out and the calculator makes no allowance for the energy lost in the charging process

    To be honest it not very accurate, our Outlander PHEV has a 13.8kWh battery, 25 -30% is usable in reality you are looking at at draw using the 30% reserve 10.1 – 10.6 kWh, and at 25% 11.4 kWh.

    The calculator is basing it calculations on 14kWh ?


    In 2005 I suffered a brain injury which has left me with mental and physical disabilities.
    Unfortunately I do get confused and get things wrong, so I apologise in advance.
