Just thought I’d mention this, been as its a forum of motabilty, disabilities & carers.
Recentley back from a camping trip, whilst there noticed a rather large chap going about his business on a motabilty scooter, few days in while we sat bbqing, I could here faintly Hello pause few mins Hello and so on for about 10 mins.
I mentioned who keeps shouting Hello, My Son said maybe its someone just seeing if the neighbouring caravan people are in or back from a day out..
Then after a while Hello changed to Help, Thats when I said I had a feeling something was wrong, so then we went to investagate and found the rather large chap had fallen from a two/three step plastic stairway to the caravan entrance to the floor sidewards.
Poor chap was wedged between a parked car, caravan with head to the floor, feet suspended,h we alerted wardens/staff, and they took if from there..
My advice is if you need assistance after a fall, or just need help getting up or out of somewhere, then use the word HELP as in this case had a immediate response once heard ..
