As many as 500,000 motorists in London and Birmingham could be forced to quit driving in 2021 due to clean air zones

The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.

Having driven along London Wall at 1mph in thick diesel fumes, I think this is a good thing, but in London it tends to simply push most of the through traffic onto ever more crowded corridors such as the A4o past Euston Station (for the current congestion charge) and the South Circular (for the future ULEZ).

Bear in mind that Motability cars won’t be affected so the roads may just get clearer for us.

For a very regular hosp journey that would have taken me just over an hour (outside of London)….. it would take me a good 3-4hrs simply due to the sheer volume of London congestion. I think this move is a good one and will encourage local residents to take up walking/cycling etc where possible or public transport/car share if possible.

Don’t worry folks this will not effect your MP’s or the Richard Branston’s of this World so lets get this working class riff-raff in their bone shaking cars off the roads now.
