My Golf gone in for software problem got a Touran Diesel courtesy car lovely high up driving position but seems very slow I think it must be the 1.5 tsi dsg engine same as my golf but of course a lot heavier than my golf ! Motability salesman just told me hybrid Golf in showroom next year

Could be the 1.6 before they dropped it, or could be the 114bhp dsg 2.0 litre.

My brother picked up his new 1.5TSi Touran a couple of weeks ago replacing a 2lt diesel one. Hasn’t stopped banging on about how brilliant it is. Loving the DSG and how much more nippier it is compared to the old diesel one.

Hi, have had a vw touran 1.6 dsg for four years and in 10 seconds easily be doing 60+with at least 2passengers and can cruise at 70 for how long I want, certainly not slow, cheers

Yes Mike your petrol Touran is indeed a diesel Golf SV.

2.0 litre diesel 148 bhp 0-60 in 9.2 seconds, top speed 130 mph – claimed mpg – 62, could get 50 if you have a light right foot.

I put £10 in went a long run I’m now quite impressed picking my car up in an hour garage just phoned yes speed is good I had park hold button on !,

Golf GTE would be nice, but given VW Motability current AP’s I cant see it coming on the scheme as it stands.

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

Golf GTE would have an ap of at least £5k if the current models on the scheme are anything to go by.

Elliot you are probably not far off the mark, VW Golf GTE £32,100 and GTE Advance £33,980 less than a Tiguan R Line 150 diesel DSG
