CarlHave been advised from a friend who works in a government agency, that the country is likely to go on full lockdown by early next week at the latest…. so best to wait until it all blows over.
The only places open are likely to be supermarkets, pharmacies and nhs and emergency services. ⁸

MichaelYou maybe able to place order but I contacted Motability yester day and if you do there is no definitive date of delivery
March 19, 2020 at 11:13 am #109641I’ve had two emails from dealers, one was Ford who I was going to order a Kuga from a couple of years ago and another from my local KIA dealer who I have a car from both saying the same thing with the likes of open as usual but not to get offended if the sales person does not shake hands and are keeping their distance from you.
Plus of coarse giving the car constant wipe overs.
March 19, 2020 at 11:16 am #109643I wonder if the sale staff wear masks ?
March 19, 2020 at 12:14 pm #109647Keeping their distance in regard to Motability customers shouldn’t be a problem as most usually completely ignore us anyway.
March 19, 2020 at 12:30 pm #109650Spot on, the Motability “Specialist” is normally “not on site…”
I got this even when I said I am not in any way disabled. So, in some dealers I just don’t say I am a Motability customer, saves the “We can’t help you, only Bob can, and he’s off till next Wednesday” from the 5 other sales staff all sitting about doing nothing/discussing Debbie in admin’s attributes/re-living their glory days of 6 months as a 4th Division football star.
In life, it's not who you know that's important, it's how your wife found out.

JaneOur last car we got in vw bury and they are so nice to mobility customer’s always asking if you want a drink saying hello when your sitting waiting.when we ordered car we got a bottle of champagne and a goody bag when car got a device we got all the same again .there so nice.as to question asked I would wait to order until its all blown over as it won’t be long that we are in lock down.no rush and your health and safety is more important. Macca<p style=”text-align: left;”>The other way of looking at this is that when this does all blow over, theres every chance car manufacturers are going to be gagging for orders, could be some bargains to be had?</p>
