I cannot believe the price of gas even with the cost cap, to date I am only into the 5th day this month, my gas meter is showing £17.83. I live in a very modern energy efficient bungalow plus November has been quite mild so far and yes, I have carryout all the combi boiler energy saving tricks.

 

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

We’re on £6.02 for the month but £1.75 for today as of 12.15pm.

It’s been cold last couple of days. We don’t usually have it on at all in the daytime,  last night it was due on at 5.30pm but it took until 7.30pm to get up to 20 degrees, so today i’ve left it on at 17c, it’ll being coming off and on all day but then shouldn’t take as long to get up to temperature tonight.

Unfortunately, I struggle to control my body temperature from 8.00 am the temperature is set to 22 degrees C, but the difference between 12 months ago?

its been cold up here last 5 days so gas has been used a lot. over £2.50/£3 a day some days.

I try not putting the heating on untill around 6pm but its often difficut as I have Raynauds and feel the cold far more ever since I was takenn ill.  So far this month my gas is £12.31 and £13,45 this week according to the smart meter!!!

Saw a gas expert on Twitter who says he doesn’t expect further price increases when the next price cap is announced in January. Also, UK is about to sign a major deal with the US for liquid gas.

I have been watching Octopus Agile half hour flexible tariff at one stage at the peak the cost near 78 pence per kWh, however for past month or so the cost has dropped below the 34 pence price cap.

My bulb account is moving to Octopus. Don’t think the price will change, at least for now.

Struth that is good news, very rare to say these days but Octopus are a brilliant company, if and when they make a mistake, they have always set me £30 -£50 credit.
